FAQs

How do I use wax melts?
Simply place one or two pieces of wax into the dish of your warmer and add a lit 4 hour tealight (or switch on if using an electric warmers.) You can use more or less wax to control the intensity of the fragrance, taking care not to overfill your burner. The wax will not disappear as it does with a candle; instead, it will eventually lose its scent.

How do I remove old wax from my burner?
There are a few ways to remove an old wax melt from your burner. One popular way is to heat the cooled wax for around a minute and then it should simply slide straight out. Others like to completely melt the wax and then pop in a couple of cotton pads to soak the wax straight up for removal.
NEVER use a knife to remove the wax from your warmer as this may cause hairline cracks which may not be clearly visible but may make it dangerous to use.

Where can I find allergy info and ingredients (aka CLP) before purchase?
The CLP label for all scents can be found under the CLP tab on the product page. Should you require any further info, please do contact us.

Are your products vegan?
The vast majority of our melts are made using vegan friendly soy wax - however some products may contains beeswax. This is clearly stated on the item page if applicable.
Our fragrance oils, colours and base ingredients (i.e. granules, reed diffuser base, room spray) are all vegan friendly.

Are your products cruelty free?

We are assured by our suppliers that our wax, fragrance oils/colours/glitters are cruelty free; as long time vegetarians ourselves, guilt-free home fragrance is something we are very passionate about! We also use recyclable packaging wherever possible. Any mica used is synthetic.

What about your plastic sample boxes and wax pots?
Our plastics are made from recycled plastic and are recyclable where local authorities allow.

Is your packaging recyclable?
Our cardboard postal boxes are recyclable and we would encourage customers to reuse or recycle these wherever possible. We sometimes use bubble envelopes for delicate items - whilst these cannot be recycled, we would again love our customers to reuse them wherever possible.
